From day one, you'll take the lead on meaningful work, accelerate your growth, and gain exposure that shapes careers.

Why Top Talent Chooses YipitData:

  • Ownership That Matters: You'll lead high-impact projects with real business outcomes
  • Rapid Growth: We compress years of learning into months

If your ambition is matched by your work ethic-and you're hungry for a place where growth, impact, and ownership are the norm-YipitData might be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

About The Role:

As the Associate Director of Product Development, you will drive the discovery, development, implementation, and improvement of YipitData products, focusing on our clients' data experience.

This is a terrific opportunity for a product innovator to accelerate YipitData's revenue growth and client engagement by developing pioneering products and experiences that enable our customers to capitalize on our valuable data.

You will be honing the team's product development strategy, making critical decisions that will impact product and company outcomes, as well as promoting collaborative execution with other team members.

As the Associate Director of Product Development, You Will:

  • Drive revenue growth by building new alternative data products spanning entire sectors or financial verticals
  • Explore and evaluate new datasets for potential commercialization
  • Work closely with our Partnerships team to direct the sourcing of new datasets and build tight relationships with prospective data partners
  • Understand the workflows, problems, and needs of our users through client interviews and by working with the Revenue team
  • Drive the product strategy that creates value on top of YipitData's data and research
  • Communicate progress and roadmaps upward and outward
  • Have the potential to manage or build out a team of Product Development Analysts

You Are Likely To Succeed If:

  • You have 5+ years of alternative data experience, including evaluating, sourcing, and working with multiple datasets
  • You've successfully developed new alt-data research or feed products with measurable impact
  • You bring client-facing or buy-side exposure and a strong understanding of financial client needs
  • You are a customer-centric product thinker who uses data and feedback to guide high-impact decisions
  • You have a track record of product innovation-identifying opportunities early, prioritizing effectively, and executing quickly and iteratively
  • You collaborate well across teams and can influence and motivate others to deliver on shared product goals
  • You understand the underlying technology of data collection, storage, delivery, and consumption
  • You operate with transparency, communicate progress clearly, and stay aligned with company objectives and success

We expect East Coast work hours.

What We Offer:

Our compensation package includes comprehensive benefits, perks, a competitive salary, and equity:

  • We care about your personal life, and we mean it. We offer flexible work hours, flexible vacation, a generous 401K match, parental leave, team events, wellness budget, learning reimbursement, and more!
  • Your growth at YipitData is determined by the impact that you are making, not by tenure, unnecessary facetime, or office politics. Everyone at YipitData is empowered to learn, self-improve, and master their skills in an environment focused on ownership, respect, and trust. See more on our high-impact, high-opportunity work environment above!
  • The annual base salary for this position is anticipated to be between $185K ~ $200K, with an annual target performance bonus of 10%. The final offer may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks.
  • The compensation package also includes equity.
