Job description

Printpack's Product Development and Business Development team is seeking a Product Development Co-op student . This experience will provide you with unique opportunity to work directly with Manufacturing, Engineering, Product Development and Sales on strategic growth platforms, honing your technical packaging skills as well your business acumen. This is a full-time position located in Williamsburg, VA and will report to the Research Engineer. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience on challenging projects with the largest consumer products companies in the US.
Printpack potentially provides a $300 dollar per week housing allowance, option to participate in the Printpack 401K plan (with company match), paid holidays, and onsite exercise facility.
Responsibilities include:
  • Producing and testing of prototype samples
  • R&D trial coverage
  • Project management
  • Test method development for packaging and plastic materials

Skills set requirements include:
  • Sophmore or Junior working towards a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering or Packaging systems.
  • Classes in chemistry, polymer science, plastics processing, computer aided design/drafting, packaging, materials science engineering, and food science are preferred.
