Director, Product Management - Corporate Development Integration

About the Team
Our product team is part of a larger group focused on the transformation of Finance at Capital One. The Corporate Development arm of Finance is responsible for assisting in creating new partnerships for our lines of business in addition to identifying possible acquisitions. The product team is a close partner in solving for how we accelerate time to value in these engagements.
The Director, Product Management for Corporate Development Integration is a unique and high profile role that is responsible for taking a holistic view of how we assimilate and integrate an acquired company into the Finance ecosystem. You'll work across the Finance portfolio shaping the strategy for how and when we integrate systems and assist the teams responsible for delivering on their individual parts of this agenda to engage effectively with their new counterparts. You will be the wide angle lens on the strategy for how we integrate as well as the glue to keep the individual workstreams aligned.
In addition to your contributions on overall portfolio and product strategies, you'll also play a key role in building our Product Management organization. You'll help shape our culture and our people, provide mentorship for your teammates and be an ambassador for Product Management across the Finance organization.
As the Director, Product Management, you will:
  • Create and provide frameworks for regularly and systematically using data to assess opportunities, track integration delivery performance, and drive decision making
  • Set the vision, establish or refine patterns and create enablers for how we integrate different types of new partnership deals or acquisitions
  • Confidently communicate possible integrations strategy, risks and opportunities across large organizations and executives
  • Align the right support or resources to deliver on specific goals or enablers for future opportunities
  • Prioritize, negotiate and remove blockers to orchestrate successful integration
  • Inspire, enable and empower teams to execute with a sense of urgency to deliver solutions and on priorities
  • Influence cross-department agendas proactively to deliver outcomes while balancing short and long term objectives
  • Serve as a thought leader, contributing practitioner, career guide, and mentor to teams

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $230,400 - $263,000 for Director, Product Management
Richmond, VA: $209,500 - $239,100 for Director, Product Management
Cambridge, MA: $230,400 - $263,000 for Director, Product Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
