Overview

Job Purpose

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is seeking a Content Manager to support marketing, sales, product and communication efforts. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role is responsible for planning, writing, and developing compelling content, messaging, and collateral to drive brand and product initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to draft, edit, and proofread high-quality marketing materials, coordinate marketing projects, and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including senior executives. A keen eye for detail, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a strong focus on execution and results are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Research, outline, write, edit, and proofread a variety of marketing communications, including white papers, case studies, press releases, and sales collateral.
  • Execute marketing initiatives across ICE initiatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product team members on product launches, go-to-market strategies, branding efforts, event support, and customer success stories.
  • Develop content that addresses key industry challenges and resonates with target personas by gaining a strong understanding of the mortgage market.
  • Draft corporate communications, including press releases, thought leadership, blogs, social media and media outreach.
  • Partner with teams to produce content that enhances brand awareness and demonstrates the value of ICE's mortgage technology offerings.
  • Deliver exceptional service to internal stakeholders through transparent communication and timely responses.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of ICE's business units, team members, and product offerings.
  • Manage multiple marketing projects independently, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and deadlines.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, content creation, advertising, or related fields.
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills, with a strong grasp of communication principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with AP (Associated Press) style guidelines.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter with the confidence to ask questions, take initiative, and develop content that clearly communicates product value.
  • Background in financial services or the mortgage industry is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences at all organizational levels.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows.
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
