Our customers shop with us for our highly regarded bakery; our grocery selections; our fresh, locally grown produce; our range of delicious prepared foods from our kitchen; our beautiful flowers and plants (many grown on premises); and our courteous and helpful staff. We employ customer-driven individuals that are dedicated to enhancing our warm and inviting farm-fresh shopping experience.
Who are we looking for?
Wilson Farm is seeking a Produce Sales Associate for our highly regarded Produce Department. This is a full-time position and this position starts at $18.00/hr. This position is for the closing shift - 10 am - 7:30/7:45.
Responsibilities
  • Assist customers both in person and by phone with questions and selecting products
  • Stocking, rotating and replenishing shelves with appropriate products as needed
  • General clean up, organizing of produce floor area to maintain neat appearance
  • Other related tasks as assigned by department Managers or Owner

Experience/Qualifications
  • Prior Produce experience required (Whole Foods, Roche Brothers, Market Basket or independent grocery)
  • Must be polite with outstanding customer service skills and excellent communication skills in person or by phone - fluent in English.
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing personality; positive attitude, strong work ethic.
  • Reliable/punctual - reliable transportation

Work Schedule
  • Full-time (50 hours/week)
  • Schedule will be for the closing shift - 10 am - close
  • Holiday periods will require more hours and flexibility in schedule (which is greatly appreciated) to meet business needs.

Physical Requirements
  • Standing/bending/reaching for periods of time
  • Up/down stairs; in/out of coolers to access products for store retail floor
  • Must be able to frequently lift/move approx. 30+lb totes of various produce
