Job description

The Sales Engineer will drive sales and promote excellence throughout the sales department. The primary responsibilities are to source opportunities, build relationships with new and existing end-users, engineering firms and distributors, and produce sales to meet and exceed the corporate goals. This position reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of sales experience

Responsibilities
  • The following activities are required in this position:
  • Promote excellence throughout the department
  • Sales Growth over previous years' high
  • Travel on a regular basis (40-50%)
  • Provide leadership and direction for the independent representatives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them
  • Plan and implement lunch and learns with end users and engineering firms
  • Develop direct contacts with major accounts
  • Collect and provide information that will be benefit our marketing and sales efforts
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Able to manage multi-projects simultaneously
  • Attend and participate in company meetings, as required
  • Identify and properly qualify new business opportunities
  • Manage complex sales cycles
  • Develop and expand market opportunities working closely with the marketing department
