Summary:

Goldbelt Frontier, LLC is looking for a Procurement Technician. The Procurement Technician will be responsible for purchasing products according to system recommendations, tracking orders, developing lasting business relationships, and negotiating prices with suppliers.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform general clerical duties in support of Supply Technicians to include establishing file folders, copying invoices and other documents, prepare folders for credit card reconciliation and contact vendors for price verification
  • Perform general office duties such as sorting, filing, typing, editing, mail distribution, answering/directing phone calls
  • Create daily procurement related reports and monitor purchase request status utilizing GFEBS and Automated Inventory System
  • Upon receipt of Procurement Request Contractor shall validate the items for e-commerce applicability utilizing the Automated Inventory System
  • Serve as the liaison between customers, supply technicians and Resource Management Division in facilitating the completion of a Purchase Request
  • Assist in the customer support cell by providing customer status and direct customer support
  • Attend Logistics Division meetings for the purpose of taking meeting minutes. Reserve conference room, type agenda and invite required attendees. These minutes shall be transcribed in the correct format and distributed to attendees or as directed by the Division Chief
  • Assist with editing and requesting changes from Logistics Leadership for the Logistics Division SOPs, regulations, policies and other publications
  • May need to cover weekend work in support of Logistics Supply Technicians during the end of the fiscal year, totaling approximately 32 hours

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Shall be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office suite to include Word and Excel
  • Within 45 days of assignment Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in agency approved Automated Inventory System and the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS)
  • Knowledge and understanding of procurement administrative support duties and responsibilities
  • Exceptional ability to work collaborative in a team environment
  • Effective communication skills including excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum three (3) years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelorโ€™s Degree from an accredited institution
