A resultsdriven professional who ensures spare parts availability to support service teams and customers. You maintain inventory accuracy, execute replenishment activities, and complete SAP postings. You play a key role in supporting customer orders, service requests, and Regional Offices to ensure uninterrupted operations.

As a member of the Materials Management team, the Procurement Assistant maintains appropriate spare parts inventory to support both service and customer operations. This includes accurate monitoring, timely replenishment, and SAP transaction processing, as well as supporting customer orders, service requests, and Regional Offices to maintain operational continuity.

You will report to the Logistics Manager in Ashland, VA. This is a full-time, onsite position. Employees are expected to work in the office five days per week. The hourly rate for this position is $20.40 to $23.10 per hour. Job Description
  • Manage spare parts inventory, including stock replenishment, inventory analysis, and monitoring Field Service Representative inventory levels
  • Process inventory transfers, capitalization entries, and internal consumption postings in SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Support servicerelated parts requests, demo equipment requests, and other Regional Office operational needs
  • Assist with customer orders for spare parts and basic instrument orders
  • Create purchase orders for calibration and repair services
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, (preferred) OR
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a materials management or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks
