Job description

Job Overview:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the overall functionality and success of the department including use of physical space, quality control, team members, cost control and all related activities. The Supervisor's success will be evaluated based on the method and the quality of the product delivered to our events, the accuracy of the pull and the quality of the equipment, the organization and flow of the operations and the development of the staff. The overall expectation is that the department fulfills orders with correct quantities while maintaining company standards. All of this being done while still managing labor and operation expenses.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Management and leadership of all department personnel
  • Management and documentation of all maintenance/preventative maintenance
  • Coordination and strategic use of employee hours to maintain appropriate labor cost
  • Manage the implementation of safety training program for all direct reports
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts throughout the department at all times
  • Evaluate personnel for job performance and development
  • Work closely with other production teams to ensure we maintain a cohesive flow from order fulfillment to order loading
  • Oversee production teams to identify and understand key areas for improvement
  • Work closely with production teams to develop and implement strategies to drive improvement in key areas
  • Look for opportunities to improve equipment handling
  • Work with team to maximize the efficiency of the warehouse layout and flow
