Position Description and Purpose:

Roskam Foods produces and packages food products with the goal of consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations for quality, safety, and wholesomeness.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow all elements of Food Safety to ensure GMP, HACCP and proper packaging standards are met.
  • Trained in HACCP and will know designated CCP's for the line they are working on.
  • Acknowledge, understand, and follow GMP principles at all times.
  • Responsible for all tasks designated by line Foreman.
  • Properly use checkweigher and metal detectors & X-Ray Machines.
  • Understand how the machine works and basic troubleshooting techniques.
  • Successfully complete all required paperwork for their line with assistance from Foreman, Supervisor and Quality Tech.
  • Ensure the machine is clean and inspect all equipment before and after product run.
  • Communicate clearly and directly with other Production leadership and other departments.
  • Must be flexible with schedule and be available as needed.
  • Any other work deemed necessary by Foreman or Supervisor.
  • Must follow all SOP and SSOP's and be the example for all employees.
  • Train new/current employees on all equipment with Foreman and Supervisor oversight.
  • Must be proficient in running the following jobs/equipment including, but not limited to Filler, Sealer, End of Line, Stacker, Scanner, Mixer/Oil Operator, SSK Filler, SSK Unloader, Cartoners, Case Erectors, Wrappers, Baggers, Enrobers, Batching Equipment and Hilo operation.
