Manager, Process Manager- Global Payment Network

As a Manager of Process Management, you will deliver flawlessly executed processes that improve business efficiency and drive results. You will create and modify processes while collaborating with smart and passionate leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. You will monitor data trends to measure effectiveness and install necessary benchmarks or thresholds to ensure data integrity. You will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders concerning the utilization of process to ensure appropriate execution each time.

Our team bridges technical teams, stakeholders, and users to ensure products are well-documented, efficient, and fully supported. We act as custodians of knowledge, blending technical writing, business analysis, and process management to create clear documentation, optimize workflows, and provide proactive user support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Management: Author and maintain high-quality technical specs, supplemental guides, and user-friendly documentation for non-technical audiences.

  • Process Optimization: Analyze stakeholder requirements and perform gap analyses to improve documentation clarity, usability, and cross-functional workflows.

  • Governance & Compliance: Manage document lifecycles, including version control, review cycles, and adherence to Enterprise/GPN risk management standards.

  • Support & Collaboration: Triage customer feedback and partner with Success teams to ensure content accuracy and a user-centric experience.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in Process management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business Management, Process Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Communications, Computer Science or Information Systems

  • Lean certification or Six Sigma certification

  • 5+ years of experience in Process management

  • 5+ years of experience in Project management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $134,400 - $153,300 for Manager, Process Management











Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
