Job description

Job Overview:
Select Event Group is a highly respected event rental company. Partnering with the regions and nations most successful event professionals, Select is dedicated to building long term relationships based on operational excellence and a commitment to our Clients success. Select provides the widest and deepest array of event rental products and services available to event professionals. The Fabric Processing Associate position is part of a team responsible for cleaning and inspecting all fabric materials for our Tents, Structures and Flooring division under the direction of the Fabric Processing Supervisor and/or the Internal Operations Assistant Director.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Following the best practices for safety
  • Examine and sort fabric according to material, grade, and required cleaning technique
  • Assist in the laundering process for tent tops, sidewall, barrel covers etc
  • Operate commercial washers, and fabric washing/drying conveyor system
  • Conduct product quality control inspections
  • Tagging and bagging cleaned/dried fabric
  • Assist with the folding process of cleaned/dried fabric
  • Lift cleaned/dried fabric onto storage rack system
  • Assist in pulling/preparing fabric items orders for delivery
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications Include:
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Must have a positive attitude
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lb
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
