Job Description
    • Create, maintain, and track employee Leave of Absence (LOA) records and documentation.
    • Serve as the first point of contact for employees by responding to inquiries regarding employment, benefits, payroll, attendance, leaves of absence, and related HR matters.
    • Perform weekly payroll-related activities, including calculating and processing sick pay, jury duty pay, bereavement pay, holiday pay, and attendance adjustments.
    • Maintain accurate attendance records and generate/distribute reports including attendance, seniority, turnover, and other workforce metrics as needed.
    • Review and audit HR documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to submission to Central Human Resources for processing.
    • Assist with employee investigations by gathering documentation, maintaining records, and supporting HR Business Partners while ensuring strict confidentiality.
    • Handle sensitive employee information with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
    • Prepare employment-related correspondence, including memos, job letters, wage verification requests, and other HR documents.
    • Issue employee identification badges and coordinate the distribution of wage replacement, disability, and leave-related forms.
    • Provide administrative support and backup coverage for Human Resource Assistants and HR Business Partners as needed.
    • Assist with employee engagement activities and company-sponsored events, including cookouts, luncheons, recognition programs, and travel arrangements.
    • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent HR experience may be considered.
    • One (1) year or more of Human Resources, Payroll, Administrative, or related office experience preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
    • Experience handling confidential employee information and sensitive workplace matters with discretion.
    • Ability to assist with investigations, maintain accurate records, and follow established HR procedures.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and related software.
    • Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Punjabi required.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
    • Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
