About Our Partner

Our partner is a well-established agriculture company with deep roots in the Central Valley. They are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to join their accounting team. This opportunity offers long-term stability, hands-on experience within the agriculture industry, and the chance to work closely with operations, accounting, and leadership in a fast-paced environment.


About the Role

The Accounting Clerk will support daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, data entry, and general administrative accounting functions. This individual will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with month-end processes while supporting multiple departments within the organization.


Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices and assist with payment processing

• Assist with accounts receivable, customer payments, and collections support

• Perform daily data entry and maintain accurate accounting records

• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and general ledger accounts

• Assist with month-end close activities and journal entries

• Maintain organized filing systems for accounting documentation and records

• Support payroll processing and employee record maintenance as needed

• Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding accounting inquiries

• Assist with reporting, spreadsheets, and ad hoc accounting projects

• Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures


Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or administrative accounting experience preferred

• Agriculture industry experience is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems preferred

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required
