  • Salary range: $80k - $110k (depending on experience).

Responsibilities
  • Identify and implement improvements in quality, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
  • Define objectives, develop test methods, collect samples, and evaluate results to ensure process reliability.
  • Serve as a technical resource for continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing output and reducing manufacturing costs.
  • Collaborate with operations to identify root causes of issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
  • Develop and execute projects aimed at maximizing production output by reducing downtime, waste, and raw material usage.
  • Manage small capital projects: define scope, provide economic justification, and prepare capital fund requests.
  • Participate in large capital project teams and lead cross-functional efforts to improve manufacturing and lab batch instructions.
  • Prepare and maintain process safety and operational documentation, including MOCs and pre-startup safety reviews.

Required skills and experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in an industrial environment.
  • Automated chemical batch manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with technical, production, and maintenance teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of DCS systems; Emerson DeltaV preferred.

Qualifications
  • BS/MS in Chemical Engineering (preferred), Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
