Head of Sales - United States Remote

Are you ready to take full ownership of sales performance across our largest international market? As Head of Sales (North America), you will develop winning strategies, lead high-performing teams, and drive revenue growth across two key markets.

We are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Head of Sales to drive our growth strategy across the United States & Canada. This role is ideal for an experienced B2B sales professional, preferably with experience in consulting, certification, compliance, or related professional services.

Working remotely from the United States, you will be responsible for the growth and success of our sales operations, optimizing lead generation activities, and fostering a strong, performance-driven sales culture across our teams. You will play a key role in expanding our market share and ensuring IMSM remains the preferred partner for ISO certification and consulting services throughout these regions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies and tactical plays across the United States & Canada to achieve revenue goals.

  • Identify growth opportunities and drive sustainable business expansion.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and motivate sales teams across both regions.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.

  • Provide direct support to sales support functions and ensure effective customer relationship management.

Training & Development

  • Design and implement training programs to strengthen sales skills, product knowledge, and adherence to sales processes.

  • Support ongoing professional development and performance improvement.

Performance Management

  • Own sales targets and KPIs across both markets.

  • Develop effective forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking processes.

Sales Process Optimization

  • Continuously review and improve sales processes from lead generation and qualification through to closing and customer handover.

  • Drive efficiency, scalability, and adoption of best practices.

  • Optimize team structures and role responsibilities to maximize performance.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments across the United States & Canada.

  • Adjust sales strategies accordingly and identify new business opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and Technical teams to align processes, enhance the customer journey, and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Working with our growing Worknest USA/Axiom GRC businesses to enhance the customer journey and master cross sell (Includes services in Cybersecurity and wider compliance schemes such as CMMC, SOC2, HIPAA).

Customer Engagement

  • Lead by example in customer interactions, particularly with key accounts and complex projects.

  • Clearly articulate and demonstrate the value of IMSM's services and solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Minimum of ten years’ proven success in a senior B2B sales leadership role.

  • Experience managing and developing teams across multiple regions.

  • Demonstrated success selling professional services into a predominantly SMB client base.

Preferred

  • Experience within ISO certification, compliance, consulting, or related industries.

  • Exposure to European Businesses.
