What is a process implementation manager?

Process Implementation Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing the introduction and integration of new processes or improvements within an organization. They analyze existing workflows, identify areas for enhancement, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation. Their role often involves project management, change management, and ongoing monitoring to ensure that new processes deliver the expected results. By streamlining operations and fostering efficiency, they help organizations achieve their strategic goals.

What are some common challenges faced by process implementation managers when introducing new processes, and how can they be effectively addressed?

Process Implementation Managers often encounter resistance to change from team members who are accustomed to existing workflows. Overcoming this challenge requires clear communication about the benefits of the new processes, involving stakeholders early in the planning phase, and providing thorough training. Additionally, unexpected technical or operational obstacles may arise, so flexibility and problem-solving skills are crucial. Regular feedback sessions and monitoring progress help ensure that any issues are promptly addressed, leading to smoother adoption and long-term success.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a process implementation manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Process Implementation Manager, you need expertise in process analysis, project management, and continuous improvement methodologies, often supported by a bachelor's degree in business or engineering. Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, workflow automation tools, and project management software like MS Project or Asana is typically required. Strong communication, leadership, and change management skills help drive adoption and collaboration across teams. These skills ensure successful implementation of process improvements that enhance efficiency and achieve organizational goals.

Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Change Implementation Consultant for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
We are looking for a skilled product change implementation manager to be part of the team that is transforming the Revenue Management platform and delivering strategic capabilities. This role will enhance pricing strategy, strengthen governance, minimize manual touchpoints and revenue leakage, and drive adoption across Sales and Product. The candidate will also be responsible for designing functional testing plans, performing user testing, and supporting production readiness activities.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute the Sales rollout plan (pilots, phased deployments, change champions, "train-the-trainer" programs)
  • Log and track defects and enhancements resulting from functional testing and ensure resolution of issues
  • Build the user onboarding journey (personas, curricula, training assets, office hours, "war room" support)
  • Support migration planning (data mapping, readiness criteria, controls) from legacy pricing/billing systems into the new platform
  • Establish adoption KPIs, dashboards, and feedback loops; track usage and remove friction to scale adoption
  • Act as the business liaison with the vendor to align on scope, timelines, SLAs, and quality standards
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, Technology, Operations, and Risk/Controls to deliver end-to-end outcomes
  • Deliver large transformation initiatives with disciplined program management and change management practices
  • Champion governance and traceability: sprint demos, UAT and regression plans, issue/defect tracking, and continuous improvement

Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of Large-Scale Change Management/Transformation Experience or Change Implementation experience
  • Proficient in execution within an agile framework, skilled at documenting business requirements, and performing testing
  • Solid understanding of treasury operations and a strong background in Global Payments & Liquidity management
  • Familiarity with pricing platforms or price optimization tools
  • Strong vendor management skills and experience leading cross-functional initiatives with Technology and Operations
  • Comfortable partnering with Treasury Management Sales and/or Relationship Managers and conducting product walkthroughs or demos
  • Fluency in data analysis (Excel/Sheets) and in building KPI dashboards for adoption and performance
  • Demonstrated change management capability (communications, training assets, super-user networks, executive updates)
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and executive-ready storytelling

Desired skills:
  • Pricing Experience - familiarity with pricing strategies and tools within the financial services or payments industry
  • Revenue Management Experience - prior involvement with revenue management systems or related processes
  • Experience with treasury management/deposit pricing, FTP methodologies, and profitability frameworks
  • Background integrating pricing tools with billing/approval workflows and data pipelines
  • Agile delivery experience (backlog management, sprint cadence, UAT leadership)
  • Experience with SQL or BI tools
