Supply Chain Excellence Manager
Huntsman is seeking a Supply Chain Excellence Manager supporting the Polyurethanes Division located in The Woodlands, TX. This position will report to the Sr. Manager - Supply Chain Excellence.
Job Scope
The individual must have the expertise and aptitude to organize, lead, and enable performance related to all elements of the value chain within the Americas Regional Supply Chain. In this people manager role, the ideal candidate will use proven leadership and change management skills to identify and drive improvements in business performance, while coordinating efforts with his/her counterparts in Europe and Asia. Business process performance improvements will be primarily driven through working relationships with Commercial (Account Management, Technical Service, Innovation, Performance Management), Operations (Production, Planning, Scheduling, Loading), Corporate (Legal, Credit, Purchasing), and Supply Chain (Sales and Operations Planning, Distribution, Logistics, Customer Service, Toll Manufacturing) Associates. To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to drive change throughout the entire value chain, challenge the status quo, be a positive and influential collaborator, and make things happen. In summary, as the Supply Chain Excellence Manager, you will:
• Ensure full utilization of Intelligent Lean tools, techniques, and Digital/automation tools/frameworks to evaluate core operational/business activities with the goal of identifying and eliminating non-value-added activities and improving supply chain performance.
• Own the governance and the community of practice for Continuous Improvement & Problem-Solving including connection to process owners, data scientists, operational & tactical teams.
• Develop and manage supply chain breakthroughs in performance by leveraging industry best practices, key innovations, and other methods to accelerate current performance.
• Develop, drive and lead the supply chain digitization strategy and initiatives.
• Manage two direct reports and own the full employee cycle of performance management, goals and objectives, mentoring and development of those resources.
• With prior experience in end-to-end Supply chain process, starting with Demand planning, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Supply Planning, Logistics and cash-to-cash cycle, assess the Supply Chain process maturity, assess gaps and develop & implement improvements.
• Responsible for ensuring a consistent approach in line with Global Supply Chain Excellence strategy and vision.
• Coordinate Supply Chain initiatives and objectives in alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
• Identify targets and metrics that ensure capabilities and capacity are in place to effectively deliver on all Supply Chain performance commitments.
• Apply metrics to measure and ensure that process improvement initiatives deliver value.
• Utilize analytical skills to present recommendations on how to achieve business objectives.
• Utilize collaborative listening and facilitation skills to enable the best strategies and implementation planning.
• Inspire action without relying solely on authority.
• Exhibit strong personal accountability and a willingness to engage others to ensure delivery of objectives.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices, process improvements, and actions that will deliver improvements in business performance.
• Define current state situation, assess gaps in process, capabilities, and talent, while assisting in the development of the future state in line with strategic plans.
• Drive tangible and measurable improvements of key processes through leadership, training, and mentoring.
• Identify and share best practices across different organizational locations.
• Ability to interact with various levels of management.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, preferably in a supply chain, technical, or business field
• A minimum of 10 years of industry experience, preferably in chemicals
Skills and knowledge

• Driven to make a difference, takes accountability and delivers results
• Collaborative - not driven by personal glory and realizes that truly sustainable results cannot be achieved without shared success

Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree, MBA, or other related advanced degree preferred
• Experience in driving process and business efficiencies from Process & Data mining tools such as Celonis is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of the digital / technical landscape of Supply Chain software/tools is highly desirable
• PowerBI experience is desirable
• APICS certification CPIM/CIRM is a plus
• Experience with databases, query/reporting tools is a plus
• SAP experience is a plus (SD, MM, PP, TMS)
Working Environment
• Up to 50% travel, mainly to our manufacturing site in Geismar, Louisiana
