Job description

Responsibilities
Peraton is hiring a Mission Management Support Process Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Annapolis Junction, MD. As a Process Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location.
As a Mission Management Support Process Engineer on our team, you will support the government customer by:
  • ensuring that processes are established and documented to support the project;
  • evaluating system and software engineering processes to address project/organizational issues;
  • developing plans for, and conducting, informal and formal project assessments;
  • analyzing assessment results and making improvement recommendations and improvement plans based upon them;
  • providing analysis and recommendations in support of mission-oriented business functions and related applications and systems;
  • aligning processes, systems, policies, and organizational structures with mission and strategy of the organization and Command;
  • creating process change by integrating new processes to improve existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted stakeholders;
  • developing innovative solutions;
  • recommending and facilitating quality improvement efforts;
  • planning and implementing approved business solutions; and
  • developing metrics and methods to collect those metrics to measure operational efficiency. #AJCM #MDFSP

Qualifications
Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Education from an accredited college or university is required. A High School diploma and four years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ten (10) years of experience with Process Improvement on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Experience is to include, within the last ten years, five years of experience in facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, process engineering across all phases of acquisition identifying best practices, change management techniques, organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices.
  • Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team setting to complete assigned tasks within an expected time frame
  • Adaptable to a dynamic work environment

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
