What You'll Be Doing:
โ€ข Develop, establish, and optimize injection molding processes for automotive components
โ€ข Monitor and adjust machine parameters to maintain product quality and manufacturing efficiency
โ€ข Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective actions to improve performance
โ€ข Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements
โ€ข Maintain and control process documentation, parameter settings, and engineering changes
โ€ข Train operators and technicians on molding processes, standards, and best practices
โ€ข Lead and support continuous improvement activities focused on reducing scrap and improving cycle times
โ€ข Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements across all molding operations
What We're Looking For:
โ€ข Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
โ€ข Minimum 3 years of experience in injection molding processes, preferably within the automotive industry
โ€ข Strong knowledge of injection molding equipment, tooling, and plastic materials
โ€ข Proven experience in process troubleshooting, optimization, and problem-solving
โ€ข Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, process documentation, and specifications
โ€ข Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
โ€ข Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and quality management systems
Bonus Points If You Have:
โ€ข Experience in automotive injection molding operations
โ€ข Experience leading continuous improvement projects
โ€ข Knowledge of scientific molding techniques
โ€ข Experience supporting new product launches and process validations
