Job description

We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Process Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Haverhill, OH surrounding area.

The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide the day-to-day process engineering support to the plant operations, monitor key process parameters, and identify process optimization & improvement opportunities. Extensive interaction with project engineering, maintenance, and plant management personnel. This position requires a strong working relationship with the operating groups to insure proper coordination, direction, and implementation of projects.

Job Responsibilities:  
  • Day-to-day operations support of the different operating units.  Familiarization with key operating conditions and their impact on performance.  
  • Daily analysis and recommendations of necessary adjustments to operating conditions. 
  •  Interaction with plant operators to improve operating efficiencies.
  • Work with operating personnel to troubleshoot process deficiencies.  Collect and evaluate key operating parameters (raw material yields, energy consumption, product specifications, capacity utilization, etc.) of all processes to optimize operating conditions. 
  • Provide technical support for major process outages and startups. 
  • Take the lead or assist in development, design, and coordination of feasibility studies, preliminary engineering, and major process capital projects. 
  • Coordinate with the procurement team the preparation of authorizations for expenditures (AFE's) for process enhancement, maintenance, and repair projects. 

Basic Hiring Criteria:  
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. 
  • Analytical skills to interpret operating data. 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to work well in teams.
