Job Details:

Shift: 1st

Primary Hours: 7:00am โ€“ 3:30pm

Salary Range: Starting at $24.00 an hour

Job Function:

The Production Control Associate supports the entire production floor by completing the following tasks. Ensuring proper production control, planning and scheduling to meet sales orders and balancing all company resources (manpower, equipment and inventory). This position is also responsible for control compliance paperwork and troubleshooting manufacturing builds throughout the cycle.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain master schedule for all manufacturing areas and updates with any customer order changes
  • Utilizes scheduling / prioritization tools in Captor Corp internal system.
  • Maintains accuracy of internal system data (mfg lead times, assembly areas)
  • Tracks and statuses performance to schedule and identifies schedule conflicts to management
  • Partners with sales team on work in process and notifies of all critical schedule issues.
  • Performs timely distribution of manufacturing drawings.
  • Assist manufacturing areas with schedule issues and delivery performance
  • Partner with sales engineers to deliver accurate timetable to clients on all orders.
  • Updates shop orders for schedule change activity.
  • Ensures proper safety standards are met at all times
  • Participates in cross training of others.
  • Serves as secondary support with internal work authorization for customer orders in a timely manner (in conjunction with Master Scheduler).
  • Participates in crossfunctional improvement teams.
  • Follows the engineering change process with shop floor reworks and reschedule directions.
  • Support production management with offsetting schedules when workload requires.
  • Qualifications
  • Two years of experience in a manufacturing environments with specific emphasis on multidivision support
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime on an as needed basis
  • Experience partnering with multiple managers in different business units
  • Ability to demonstrate high attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and has a functional understanding of ERP systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to aggressively multitask and react quickly to change.
