Job description

The primary responsibility of the Production Associate is to ensure product is processed in a safe manner and that our product meets all the quality expectations set forth by work instructions and standard operating procedures. The Production Associate is also responsible for meeting the production expectations in accordance with our demand. 

  • Assemble components to our glass products
  • Ensure produced parts meet customer specifications
  • Pack finished product according to customer requirements
  • Responsible for processing various products in accordance with all work instructions, quality and safety expectations
  • Identify, record, and communicate any problems relating to the product or the production process
  • Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions to problems through designated channels
  • Adhere to work standardization and associated training requirements
  • Follow housekeeping standards and expectations
  • Assist in training other associates for cross training purposes
  • Track and collect data on production and quality standards
  • Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications Required:

  • High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience 
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications Desired:

  • 2 years of experience in a assembly facility
  • Experience working with component parts.

Other Requirements:

  • Be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Stand for extended periods of time.
