Their main role is to help students with special needs or those who require extra assistance to succeed in the classroom. Paraprofessionals support instructional activities, provide one-on-one or small group help, and assist with classroom management. They also help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure students' safety and well-being during the school day. These professionals play a vital role in helping students reach their educational goals.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Procare Paraprofessional, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Procare Paraprofessional, you generally need experience working with children, a high school diploma or equivalent, and sometimes specialized training or education in special education or child development. Familiarity with classroom technology, learning management systems, and behavior tracking tools is often required.
