About the role
As a Java Technical Project Manager, you will make an impact by leading complex technology delivery initiatives, managing service excellence, and driving successful project outcomes across globally distributed teams. You will be a valued member of the delivery organization and work collaboratively with clients, engineering teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to ensure high-quality service delivery and program execution.

Strong hands-on technical background in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
In this role, you will:
Lead end-to-end service delivery activities and ensure alignment with service level agreements (SLAs) and client expectations.
Manage multiple application development projects simultaneously, overseeing planning, execution, risk management, and delivery.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, providing weekly and monthly status updates to key stakeholders.
Drive incident and problem management processes, ensuring timely resolution, escalation management, and effective communication.
Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing delivery and engineering teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Partner with global client stakeholders and cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to ensure successful execution and service excellence.
Champion Agile delivery practices and improve operational efficiency through process optimization and automation initiatives.
Identify and implement Generative AI-driven automation opportunities to support year-over-year productivity improvements.

What you need to have to be considered
16- 18 years of IT experience with at least 3 years of experience in service delivery, project management, incident management, and client relationship management.
Strong hands-on technical background in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
Experience delivering enterprise applications on OpenShift and AWS platforms.
Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka, Redis Cache, and NoSQL databases.
Proven experience managing multiple concurrent development projects and geographically distributed teams.
Demonstrated success in client stakeholder management, executive communication, and service governance.
Experience working within Agile development methodologies and managing cross-functional delivery teams.
Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
These will help you stand out
Experience leading digital transformation or modernization programs.
Knowledge of Generative AI technologies and automation initiatives.
Experience establishing KPI frameworks and service performance management practices.
Strong background in operational excellence, continuous improvement, and process optimization.
Experience managing large-scale enterprise application support and development engagements across global delivery models.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
