The Opportunity
As a PRN Registered Nurse (RN), you'll play an essential role in each patient's care journey-from pre-procedure prep to post-operative recovery. You'll work closely with physicians and staff to ensure each procedure runs smoothly, every patient is supported, and clinical standards are always met. Your ability to communicate, anticipate needs, and respond with compassion will be key to delivering the exceptional experience we're known for.
What You'll Do:
Clinical Care & Patient Support
  • Review and document medical histories, allergies, medications, and procedure details
  • Take and record vital signs (weight, BP, pulse, respiration, temperature)
  • Start IVs, prepare patients for procedures, and assist with draping and positioning
  • Monitor patients in recovery and complete medical chart sections as required
  • Educate patients on medications, procedures, risks/benefits, and post-op instructions
Procedure Room & Operations
  • Set up procedure rooms with required supplies, trays, and medications
  • Assist physicians during procedures
  • Break down and sterilize rooms between patients
  • Escort patients to and from the recovery area
Communication & Leadership
  • Answer patient questions and resolve any concerns
  • Conduct post-procedure follow-up phone calls
  • Collaborate closely with ancillary nursing staff and clinical personnel
  • Provide leadership and a cooperative, team-first attitude

Qualifications
  • Current, unencumbered RN license in Indiana required
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and 25 lbs frequently
  • Able to assist in patient transport and positioning
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Prior experience with EHR systems preferred
