What is a Private Military Contractor job?

A Private Military Contractor (PMC) is a trained professional hired by private companies or governments to provide security, military training, or logistical support in conflict zones or high-risk areas. PMCs often have backgrounds in the military, law enforcement, or security industries. Their duties can include protecting personnel, conducting reconnaissance, or providing tactical training to allied forces. Unlike traditional military personnel, PMCs operate as private employees and are not part of a national armed force. Their work can be dangerous and requires specialized skills, including combat training and risk assessment.

What are some of the common challenges faced by Private Military Contractors in the field?

Private Military Contractors often operate in high-risk and unpredictable environments, which can include conflict zones and areas with limited infrastructure. Adapting quickly to rapidly changing situations, working long hours, and maintaining mental and physical resilience are common challenges in this role. Contractors may also face language and cultural barriers, requiring strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity. Teamwork is critical, as operations frequently involve coordination with other contractors, local personnel, and occasionally military or governmental agencies, all under potentially stressful conditions.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Private Military Contractor position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Private Military Contractor, you need extensive military or law enforcement experience, advanced tactical skills, and relevant security clearances. Familiarity with modern weapons systems, surveillance technology, and certifications such as first aid/CPR and firearms training are typically required. Strong situational awareness, adaptability, excellent communication, and the ability to work well under pressure are crucial soft skills. These competencies ensure you can perform high-risk assignments safely and effectively in dynamic, often challenging environments.

Job description

Job Title: Digital Marketing & Website Manager (Hands-on)

Location: 12505 E 55th Street, Tulsa, OK - On Site

Job Type: Full-time

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Digital Marketing & Website Manager to own our online presence from top to bottom. This is a technical and creative role focused on execution, not team management. You will be responsible for creating, implementing, and optimizing all digital marketing campaigns, managing our website content and functionality, and analyzing performance data to drive growth. The ideal candidate is a "full-stack" marketer—comfortable building a landing page in a CMS, setting up paid ads, and optimizing SEO simultaneously.

Core Responsibilities (No Direct Reports)

1. Website Management & Optimization

  • CMS Administration: Act as the primary administrator for the company website (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Shopify), creating new pages, editing content, and managing layouts.
  • Web Performance: Monitor site speed, usability, and responsiveness, applying updates and optimizing for conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Technical SEO: Implement on-page SEO best practices (metadata, schema markup, image optimization) to improve organic search rankings.
  • Integration: Manage website integrations, tracking tags (Google Tag Manager), and API connections to CRM platforms.

2. Marketing & Advertising Campaign Creation

  • End-to-End Campaign Management: Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including strategy, content creation, and launch across search, social, and display.
  • Paid Search/SEM & PPC: Develop, launch, and optimize Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns to drive high-quality traffic.
  • Paid Social: Run targeted ad campaigns on LinkedIn, Meta (Instagram/Facebook), and TikTok.
  • Email Marketing: Own the email calendar—design, build, and deploy email nurturing sequences and newsletters.
  • Content Creation: Draft copy for landing pages, emails, and ads; create basic visual assets using Canva or Adobe tools.

3. Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Data Analysis: Utilize Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to analyze user behavior and campaign performance.
  • Performance Reporting: Compile regular reports on KPIs (ROI, CPA, conversion rates) and provide actionable insights for improvements.
  • A/B Testing: Conduct experiments to optimize landing page performance and ad creatives.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5+ years in a hands-on digital marketing or website management role.
  • CMS Expertise: Proficient in WordPress, Webflow, or similar CMS platforms.
  • Marketing Tools: Advanced proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for troubleshooting and customization.
  • Content: Proven ability to create compelling marketing copy and basic design assets.
  • Analytical: Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Why This Role?

  • Direct Impact: You have an opportunity to work with a small collaborative group where your creativity and skills directly drive lead generation and revenue.
