Position Overview
Concord Preparatory School is seeking a dedicated and experienced High School Math Teacher to join our academic team.
This role involves teaching a range of high school math courses from Algebra through Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus (AB/BC), and/or AP Statistics, supporting students in both academic achievement and college preparation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Teach high school math courses including:
  • Algebra I/II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus (AB/BC), and/or AP Statistics
  • Develop structured, engaging, and standards-aligned lesson plans
  • Prepare students for AP exams and support strong score outcomes
  • Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
  • Differentiate instruction to support students of varying levels, including international students
  • Maintain accurate records of grades, assignments, and student performance
  • Collaborate with academic leadership on curriculum planning and instructional improvement
  • Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and professional development
  • Foster a positive, structured, and academically rigorous classroom environment
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of high school math teaching experience
  • Experience teaching AP-level courses strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of College Board AP curriculum and exam structure
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations, including international students
  • Passion for teaching and student success
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AP Calculus AB/BC and/or AP Statistics
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and SIS systems(e.g., Blackbaud)
  • Experience in small group or personalized instruction settings
