LINE COOKS

We have fantastic kitchen opportunities as we re-open for the spring season at Walnut Creek Country Club!! We are a private club in South Lyon looking to hire friendly, upbeat, reliable staff to join our team. Located 10 minutes from Novi. Positions include line cooks for casual dining, fine dining, and banquets.

We are looking for candidates who have excellent communication skills, enjoy people, along with being self-motivated with a drive to strive to exceed expectations. Experience is a plus. Must have professional appearance and attitude, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality. Candidates must be available to work a combination of weekends, evenings and some holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Minimum of six months to a year in line cook experience or culinary school.
  • Requires knowledge of food production, storage/handling techniques, sanitation and commercial use culinary equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Requires ability to lift 20-50 pounds frequently.
  • Requires full mobility for entire duration of shift.
  • Varying environmentally controlled temperatures from kitchen area and coolers.
