The Manager, AI Strategy leads the organization’s artificial intelligence vision and execution roadmap across clinical, operational, and enterprise functions in a multi-facility Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment. The role ensures AI initiatives are safe, compliant, measurable, and scalable, translating executive priorities into an actionable AI portfolio that delivers operational efficiency while protecting resident privacy and regulatory integrity.

Performance Expectations (First 6–12 Months)

- Establish an AI governance framework.
- Deliver multiple AI pilots with measurable operational impact.
- Develop and Publish an enterprise AI roadmap.
- Launch AI education and adoption program across facilities.


The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
AI Strategy & Roadmap

- Develop and maintain a 12–24 month enterprise AI roadmap.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI use cases.
- Build business cases, ROI models, and funding requests for AI initiatives.

AI Governance, Risk, and Compliance

- Establish and operate an AI governance framework including intake, approval, monitoring, and documentation standards.
- Ensure AI solutions comply with privacy, security, and regulatory requirements related to PHI and clinical operations.
- Lead the organization’s AI Steering Committee partnering with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Privacy teams to define appropriate guardrails for AI usage.

Use Case Delivery & Value Realization

- Lead cross-functional pilots and scaled deployments across Clinical Operations and Back-office services providing support for workforce processes, revenue cycle, and shared services.
- Define, measure, and report KPIs such as time saved, error reduction, adoption, and impact to operational efficiency.
- Create repeatable AI delivery methodologies from pilot initiation through enterprise deployment.

Data, Platform, and Vendor Collaboration

- Partner with IT, Data, Security, and Architecture teams to ensure data quality, system integration, and monitoring.
- Support RFP, evaluation and selection of AI vendors, including security and performance criteria.
- Manage AI-related licensing, pilots, renewals, and vendor performance assessments.

Change Management & Enablement

- Develop training, communications, and adoption programs to safely scale AI across corporate and facility teams.
- Publish practical guidance on responsible AI use for leaders and staff.


Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Business, Data/Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT, analytics, digital transformation, product/program management, or strategy.
- Demonstrated experience delivering cross-functional initiatives in regulated environments.
- Working knowledge of AI concepts, risks, and limitations.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Skilled Nursing, long-term care, or multi-site healthcare operations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem AI tools (e.g., M365 Copilot).
