Job description

Job Overview
The Printer/Blueprint Specialist will be responsible for operating high-capacity printing equipment, managing blueprint orders, producing high-quality posters, and assisting customers with quick design tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and have some familiarity with design software.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Blueprint Production
    • Operate KIP 7970 printer to produce black-and-white blueprints.
    • Scan, copy, bind, and roll blueprints for customer pickup.
    • Ensure accurate and timely completion of blueprint orders.
  2. Blueprint Order Management
    • Monitor and manage the blueprint email account.
    • Receive orders, confirm details, and inform customers about order status.
  3. Poster Production
    • Canon PRO 4100s printer to produce matte and gloss posters.
    • Roll, pack, and ship posters to CCP customers and offices as needed.
  4. Quick Design Assistance
    • Assist customers with minor design edits using Adobe Creative Cloud software, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
    • Support poster layout and design for print production.

Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is preferred.
  • Ability to use Google Sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn and operate large-format printers and scanners.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
