Position Title: Outside Sales
Reports To: Manager 
Key Responsibilities:

Business Prospecting and Lead Generation
  • Identify potential business clients in the local market (and beyond, if applicable) through cold calling, networking, research, and referrals.
  • Conduct business-to-business (B2B) outreach, visiting businesses in person, or making calls to introduce print shop services.
  • Qualify leads by understanding the unique needs of different businesses and identifying opportunities to offer relevant print services (banners, car wraps, vinyl installation, sublimation, screen printing, embroidery).
  • Build and maintain a weekly robust pipeline of prospects to ensure a steady flow of new opportunities.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Building
  • Present and promote print shop products and services to prospective clients in a clear and compelling way.
  • Develop long-term relationships with business clients by understanding their unique needs and offering ongoing print solutions.
  • Collect business information (such as company name, contact details, and order specifics) and ensure proper order forms are provided.
Marketing and Promotional Activities
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials (e.g., brochures, flyers, email campaigns, social media content) to promote products and services to potential clients. 
  • Develop strategies for local advertising, including direct mail, digital marketing, and participation in trade shows or business events.

Sales and Revenue Growth
  • Work closely with the manager to set and meet sale targets for new business and revenue growth.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products and services offered by the print shop, ensuring that clients receive accurate information about available offerings.
  • Use DecoNetwork to track leads, client interactions, and sales progress.
Networking and Market Expansion
  • Attend networking events, conferences, and business expos to build relationships and promote the print shop’s services.
  • Leverage community connections to secure opportunities for the print shop to serve new sectors or businesses.
Reporting
  • Maintain detailed records of all prospecting efforts, client interactions, and sales activities.
  • Submit regular reports to management on business development activities, successes, and challenges.
  • Ensure that all client paperwork (contracts, order forms, quotes, etc.) is properly filed and up-to-date.
Team Collaboration
  • Collaborate with the production and design team to ensure seamless service delivery to clients and to stay aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide feedback from clients to the team to improve services and products.

Skills & Qualifications:
Sales Experience
: Proven track record in B2B sales or business development, ideally in the print, advertising, or promotional product industries.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to confidently present and explain services to potential clients in a persuasive and professional manner.
  • Marketing Knowledge: Experience in creating and executing marketing campaigns, both traditional and digital.

  • Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of print products and services, including signage, vehicle wraps, apparel printing, sublimation, and other offerings.
