Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Package and ship UPS and USPS correspondence
  • Pickup and deliver mail daily to/from Post Office
  • Work with the Director of Marketing and Purchasing Dept. to manage and negotiate UPS and equipment contracts.
  • Manage/prepare bulk mailings, utilizing ConnectRightTM Mailer – mail management software
  • Maintain mail room and equipment.
  • Run check inserter on Thursday and Friday, and include postage for mailing.
  • Actively seek ways to improve efficiency and cost savings.
  • Obtain quotes from vendors for outside jobs when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Graphics/Marketing team on various projects, such as mailings and branded apparel pick-up.
  • Assist with fulfilling print and distribution requests
  • Help internal customers (Partners in Progress) place online print requests
  • Maintain stock of printed materials, forms, literature, technical manuals and sheets, shop plans, etc.
  • Assist with operating various print shop equipment including but not limited to copier, printer, scanner, folder, stitcher, paper drill, inserter, paper cutter, and laminator.
  • Practice safe working habits and follow safety procedures, policy, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
  • Ability to work towards continuous improvement of product quality and ISO 9001:2015 system.



Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of production printers, copiers, and print shop equipment
  • General knowledge of a working print shop, paper types/weights and equipment setup
  • Working knowledge of Pitney Bowes UPS and USPS software and equipment preferred
  • Must be able to lift and move 60 lbs (boxes of paper)
  • Basic math skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Personable and service-oriented
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Self-starter with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
