Dover Publications offers an engaging summer internship program that provides learning, mentorship, networking, and meaningful work experience for those interested in a publishing career, with an emphasis on expanding diversity and inclusion. This year we are looking for a Print Production Intern.

Timeline, compensation, and location

  • Summer Internshipโ€”10 weeks, beginning in June and ending mid-August
  • Monday to Thursday
  • Six hours per day
  • $16.00 per hour
  • In Dover offices, located in Garden City, NY

How you will make a difference

As our Print Production Intern, you will support our Production team and assist the Production Manager with tasks, including:

  • Enter print job specification information in the pricing template and build printing scenarios
  • Enter Purchase Orders into the system
  • Track open purchase orders and follow up with vendors on late deliveries
  • Gain exposure to all stages of the book development process
  • Maintain blank dummy library of samples received

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Previous experience in data-entry
