What does a print production intern do?

A Print Production Intern assists with the various stages of preparing and producing printed materials, such as brochures, magazines, and posters. Their responsibilities often include coordinating with designers, reviewing proofs, checking for errors, and ensuring that final products meet quality standards. Interns may also help with administrative tasks, learn about different printing techniques, and gain experience in working with vendors and production schedules. This role provides hands-on experience in the print industry and helps interns build valuable project management and communication skills.

This role provides hands-on experience with print machinery and software, giving you exposure to real-world production workflows and problem-solving. Collaboration and attention to detail are key, as you'll be working closely with creative teams and vendors to deliver high-quality results.

Job description

RENOGY · NORTH AMERICAN B2B MARKETING

Marketing Intern
Ontario, CA · Full-time / Internship · Reports to B2B Marketing Manager

Support the NA B2B Marketing team in producing the design, print, and copy that keeps our dealer, OEM, and distributor programs running. You'll work directly with the B2B marketing Manager on everything from flyer design to trade show prep, with room to grow into email marketing and campaign work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
•Design and mockup flyers, one-pagers, sales sheets, and dealer-facing templates
•Keep printed marketing materials for every product line accurate, on-brand, and ready - especially ahead of trade shows and dealer events
•Coordinate print production and proofing: specs, deadlines, and vendor handoffs
•Write and edit short-form copy - product blurbs, headlines, email snippets
•Help build and send email newsletters and campaigns (training provided)
•Keep brand assets, templates, and the marketing library organized and current
•Pitch in on general marketing tasks as campaigns ramp up

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
•A good eye for layout; comfortable in Canva and/or Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
•A clear, concise writer who can match a brand voice
•Organized and detail-oriented - catches the typo, the wrong SKU, or the off-brand color before it prints
•Able to juggle multiple deadlines, especially around show season
•Eager to learn email platforms, marketing analytics, and B2B channel marketing
•Bonus: email tools (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot), B2B or dealer/channel experience, or familiarity with the RV, marine, or overlanding space

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN Hands-on training in email marketing, campaign building, partner enablement, and the full B2B content workflow - a strong launchpad for a marketing career.
