Job description

Merestone provides full-service creative design solutions for planning, designing, fabricating, and installing immersive environments, including display concepts and designs, exhibitions, trade show exhibits, theatrical stage and scenic designs, broadcast set designs, graphic and theme development, corporate signage, full-service scenic fabrication, and audio/visual solutions.

Merestone is seeking a Print Production Associate to join our highly skilled team of professionals and help drive the print production department toward advanced standards of safety, quality, efficiency, and operational excellence.


The Print Production Associate reports directly to the Lead Print Production Manager and works closely with the creative production team to gather information and ensure projects are produced accurately and delivered on schedule.


This position will assist in producing and managing a variety of print and installation projects involving large, medium, and small-format printed elements for décor, signage, and fabricated environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with print production workflows, RIP software, Adobe Illustrator, print substrates, finishing processes, installation methods, and general manufacturing practices.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation of scenic, experiential marketing, corporate signage, and trade show exhibit products.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure projects are completed on time and meet Merestone’s quality standards.
  • Operate and maintain print production equipment.
  • Prepare files for production, manage print queues, and ensure quality control throughout the printing and finishing process.
  • Travel as needed to perform site surveys, installation and dismantle oversight, and client walkthroughs.
  • Experience operating and maintaining Vanguard VK300D-HS UV flatbed printers and HP 1500 roll printers is a plus; training will be provided.

  • Knowledge of Onyx RIP software and color management workflows.
  • Experience operating cold laminators and other print finishing equipment.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Experience operating Vanguard VK300D-HS UV flatbed printers.
  • Familiarity with UV printing workflows, printhead maintenance, color management, and printer calibration.
  • Experience with large-format printing, mounting, laminating, trimming, and finishing processes.
  • Familiarity with print substrates, vinyl applications, and installation techniques.
  • Experience in scenic fabrication, trade show exhibits, experiential marketing environments, or custom signage production.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes.


Schedule & Travel Requirements

  • Must be available to travel when required for site surveys, installations, dismantles, and client walkthroughs.
  • Ability to work extended hours during installations, trade shows, and special events as needed.
  • Willingness to support production schedules during peak workload periods and tight project deadlines.
