United Direct Solutions is looking for a Digital Print Operator at our Cincinnati, OH facility on 1st Shift and for an overnight shift

Schedule:

1st Shift- 7:30AM- 4:00PM Monday- Friday

12 hour shifts- 7:00PM- 7:00AM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday OR Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Pay: $20.00 or more per hour based on experience

SUMMARY

The Digital Print Operator will be responsible for the day to day operation of all Digital Printers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Digital Print Operator will be responsible for making sure that the job prints on time and with the highest quality, according to established ISO quality procedures. Below is a list of primary responsibilities and requirements for this position:

· Operation of all types of Digital Printers

· Operation of Continuous Feed printers

· Ability to work with and explain issues to technicians

· Ability to follow all ISO work instructions

· Opening of stock for ongoing print work

· QC of all printed material

· Handling of all printed material (routing, stacking, etc.)

· Inventory of all printer room consumables

· Maintenance and troubleshooting of all Digital Printers

· Keeping print area clean and uncluttered at all times

· Logging of all print jobs in Digital Print Log

· Operate manual pallet jack

· Other duties may be assigned

Education and/or Experience:

Must have good mechanical aptitude for clearing jams and other routine maintenance

Computer aptitude required

Ability to work in a deadline oriented environment

Ability to maintain high quality standards under time pressure

Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed

Familiar or experience with color management or color match preferable

High school diploma or equivalent

1-2 years of printer experience

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardizes situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl while monitoring the laser printers; use hands to grasp or handle documents, boxes, rolls of paper, and other objects; reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift 40 - 60 pounds and/or push large rolls (weighing up to 1000 pounds) of paper. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
