Are you a hands-on problem solver with strong mechanical skills and an eye for precision? Standard Printing Company is looking for a detail-oriented Press Feeder Operator to support our press operations and help deliver high-quality printed materials that exceed customer expectations.
Position Summary
The Press Feeder Operator is responsible for accurately loading materials, supporting press operations, monitoring quality, and making mechanical adjustments to ensure uninterrupted production. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational efficiency, minimizing downtime, and upholding our high standards of print quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Material Loading: Accurately load paper, cardboard, and other substrates into the press, ensuring proper alignment and continuous feeding throughout the print run.
  • Press Operation Support: Work alongside the Press Operator to monitor performance and maintain uninterrupted operation.
  • Mechanical Adjustments: Make real-time adjustments to feeder mechanisms, paper tension, and alignment to maintain quality and prevent downtime.
  • Quality Control: Inspect materials regularly for defects, ensuring proper ink application, color registration, and material integrity.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve feeding or mechanical issues quickly to maintain production flow.
  • Maintenance Support: Assist with routine press cleaning and minor maintenance to promote equipment longevity and efficiency.
  • Documentation: Record production data including material usage, job details, and issues encountered during operation.
Available Shifts
  • Monday โ€“ Thursday, 5:00 AM โ€“ 3:30 PM - 4-days, 10-hours
  • Monday โ€“ Thursday, 3:15 PM โ€“ 1:45 PM - 4-days, 10-hours
  • Friday โ€“ Sunday, 5:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM - 3-days, 12-hours (paid for 40)

Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in a manufacturing or printing environment

  • Previous printing press experience preferred; we are willing to train the right candidate
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and/or walk up to 8 hours per shift
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds
