Position Summary
The Digital Press Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting digital printing equipment while ensuring quality, productivity, and safety standards are met. This position plays a critical role in producing high-quality labels that meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.
Experience operating a Screen Truepress Jet L350UV is highly desirable, but candidates with experience operating HP Indigo, Domino, Durst, EFI Jetrion, Xeikon, or similar digital printing equipment are encouraged to apply.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate digital printing equipment according to job specifications.
  • Review work orders and verify materials, artwork, and job requirements before production.
  • Monitor print quality throughout production runs.
  • Perform color matching and maintain color consistency.
  • Conduct quality inspections and identify defects before products move to the next stage of production.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and production issues to minimize downtime.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of digital press equipment.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with Prepress, Customer Service, Scheduling, and Production teams.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating digital printing equipment required.
  • Experience in label printing, packaging, commercial print, or related printing environments preferred.
  • Screen Truepress Jet L350UV experience is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of prepress workflows and file preparation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Understanding of color theory, color matching, and print quality standards.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
