Job description

Position Summary

As a Precision Assembler you will perform assembly work in a station or line to produce medical devices in an FDA regulated and controlled environment.

Shift: 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM. Monday - Friday.

What you will do as a Precision Assembler

1. Perform assembly-type functions, using various hand tools and bench top pneumatic presses consistently at or above production targets

2. Handle and evaluate quality of small parts during manufacturing processes.

3. Inform Team Lead of any problems pertaining to production, parts, equipment or processes.

4. Operate equipment needed to perform job.

5. Adhere to Shop Practices including proper gowning and use of personal protective equipment and following standard work.

6. Submit Safety Observations through Safety Program and new Ideas through Ideas Program.

7. Update the Hour by Hour Board and complete Pareto charts.

8. Meet quality assurance requirements, complete DHRs, and perform Process Monitoring.

9. Perform other duties as needed.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities

Required:

  • High school graduate/GED
  • Previous assembly experience with small parts required;1 year
  • Experience in crimping and gluing small parts; 1 year
  • Ability to perform material replenishment duties; 1 year
  • Ability to perform in-process inspections; 1 year
  • Ability to perform changeover for parts and equipment; 1 year
  • Ability to setup auto baggers and printers for new orders; 1 year

Pay range for this opportunity is$15.02-$19.44.This position is eligible for bonus participation.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
