Weekend Operations Manager

Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday | Three 13-hour shifts | 39 hours per week
Pay: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience
About the Role
Tidalwave Holdings is hiring a Weekend Operations Manager to lead our Saturday-through-Monday 3PL fulfillment operation.
This is a three-day work week with full-time pay and full-time benefits. You will be the senior leader on site on Saturday and Sunday, responsible for production output, team performance, safety, facility security, and communication with weekday leadership. On Monday, you will work alongside our weekday management team on handoff, planning, and continued coverage.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role for someone who can lead across picking and replenishment, packing and client stations, bulk shipping, wholesale, and other weekend priorities. The right person is highly dependable, comfortable making decisions independently, and able to keep a team focused and productive without continuous direction.
What You'll Own
  • Plan weekend priorities with weekday managers and direct daily work across the 3PL operation
  • Lead a weekend team of approximately three to five employees by assigning work, monitoring progress, coaching in real time, and reinforcing expectations
  • Adjust workflow and priorities throughout the shift to maintain accuracy, throughput, and client SLAs
  • Serve as the senior on-site decision-maker on Saturday and Sunday, resolving operational issues and escalating urgent concerns appropriately
  • Own weekend safety and facility security, including opening and closing the building and responding to incidents or emergencies
  • Provide clear weekend recaps and Monday handoffs, and identify opportunities to improve weekend workflows, staffing, and training
  • Manage weekend timekeeping and scheduling in partnership with HR and the Operations Director
What We're Looking For
Required
  • Minimum of one year of management or supervisory experience directly leading a team
  • Demonstrated reliability and consistent attendance
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to give clear direction, document issues, and escalate proactively
  • Sound independent judgment and the ability to make decisions without immediate support
  • Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Consistent availability for the full Saturday-through-Monday schedule
  • Ability to work on-site in Chattanooga , TN

Preferred
  • Experience in fulfillment, 3PL, warehousing, or distribution
  • Working knowledge of multiple fulfillment functions such as picking, packing, or bulk shipping
  • Experience with warehouse management or order management systems
  • Forklift certification or willingness to certify
Schedule and Compensation
  • Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
  • Three 13-hour shifts totaling 39 hours per week
  • Two paid 45-minute breaks per shift

The Weekend Operations Manager will have meaningful ownership over the success of the weekend shift and will work closely with weekday managers, HR, and the Operations Director to strengthen and grow the weekend team.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
This position is performed in a warehouse environment. The role requires standing and walking for extended periods on concrete, frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to [50] pounds, and working in an environment where temperature varies seasonally.
