Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead a high-volume envelope printing and converting manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, deep technical knowledge of envelope converting processes, and hands-on operational experience with both offset and flexographic printing technologies — specifically Jet Press and W&D converting equipment.
This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring the efficiency and quality of manufacturing to meet customer expectations. Responsibilities include overseeing all areas of sales, customer service, production, managing budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position will have full P/L responsibility and will be evaluated on growth of profits and sales. This individual will collaborate with Business Unit Director and plant level department heads to create strategic plans and lead teams to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
• Minimum 7–10 years of manufacturing leadership experience within the envelope converting, printing, or paper converting industry.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a General Manager or senior operations leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of offset printing processes, flexographic printing processes, envelope converting operations, and mailing/direct mail manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to lead high-volume manufacturing operations while improving efficiency, quality, and profitability.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, production scheduling, and manufacturing reporting tools.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with all levels of personnel and customers.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred. Equivalent industry experience will be strongly considered
