Principal, Technical Program ManagementOverview:
Mastercard's Global Open Banking PMO is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead the delivery of transformative initiatives that shape the future of open banking. In this role, you will drive the end-to-end execution of strategic business programs and global product solutions, from ideation and planning through launch and adoption, for some of Mastercard's most important customers and partners.
You will collaborate across Product, Engineering, Sales, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Customer Delivery teams to build comprehensive and achievable project plans highlighting key milestones and dependencies. You'll manage the execution and delivery of all tasks required to achieve project success, identifying and mitigating risks and providing meaningful status reporting to internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Role:
Independently lead large-scale initiatives and mid-sized portfolios, bringing clarity to ambiguous requirements and defining key deliverables and success criteria.

Facilitate focused, outcome-oriented discussions with internal and external stakeholders, driving timely decisions and removing obstacles to execution.
Bridge regional and cross-functional teams to align architectures, strategies, priorities, and delivery plans with urgency and accountability.
Champion program management best practices across PMO, Product, and Engineering, mentoring peers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships across Program Management, Product, Engineering, Legal, Delivery, and Executive Leadership teams.
Serve as a trusted partner to strategic clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders while consistently demonstrating Mastercard Way values.
Oversee all phases of the product and software development lifecycle for strategic client-facing and internal initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, business alignment, and effective management of risks and dependencies.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
