Summary:
The Principal Technical Consultant plays a key role in delivering high-quality technical solutions by translating complex business needs into actionable technical requirements. This role leads the development of business and design specifications to support software development and integration activities, create custom integrations to enable seamless data interchange between applications, and develops scripts and processes for data conversion, migration, and validation. The consultant also produces clear and comprehensive documentation to support conversion, migration, and integration efforts, ensuring smooth implementation and long-term maintainability.
Qualifications:
  • Webservices, Java, JSON, and general API programming
  • MS SQL Server, Oracle, SQL, DDL, stored procedures, triggers, and indexes
  • Experience extracting, transforming and loading financial/accounting data
  • Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS and others
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with business users
  • Experience with design of validation rules for conversion and migration activities
  • Experience with administering, data migration/integration of Deltek products (Costpoint, Deltek Time Collection, Deltek Expense)
