Job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a Principal Technical Engineer - Identity Access Management to lead the strategy, architecture, and engineering of enterprise Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and broader Identity & Access Management (IAM) capabilities. Serves as the technical authority responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling secure, compliant identity solutions across cloud and on-prem environments. Ensures identity services are resilient, audit-ready, and aligned to business, security, and regulatory requirements. Partners cross-functionally to embed identity controls into enterprise systems, applications, and DevSecOps practices.

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Build a strong Identity Governance and Administration program and serve as the technical expert. Key technical contributor to the strategy, design, engineering and management of the enterprise IGA solution 
  • Design and implement Identity Governance and Administration processes. Plan, design and implement Access Reviews, Compliance Reporting, Access Control Processes, role-based access control and other relevant Identity Governance and Administration capabilities 
  • Build a strong Identity & Access Management foundation. Integrate Identity & Access Management systems with in-house applications, third party applications and SaaS applications for all identity governance functions 
  • Design, develop, test, implement, and document the Identity & Access Management solution to meet program requirements 
  • Translate high level requirements into detailed technical designs, and lead design sessions 
  • Develop documentation to support ongoing Identity & Access Management systems operations, maintenance, and specific problem resolution

Experience:
5-7 years of cybersecurity work experience is required. 2 years of experience with Cloud technology and concepts preferred.

Must have skills and Experience:

  • Extensive, hands-on experience in building and implementing Identity Governance and Administration solutions with one or more of the leading Identity Governance and Administration products - Saviynt, SailPoint IdentityIQ, SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, Oracle Access Governance/OIM
  • Strong development experience in implementing all core capabilities of an Identity Governance and Administration Solution
  • Experience in preparing the product documentation, test cases, test plans, user guides etc.
  • Deep knowledge of agile processes and workflows
