Description:

The Systems Engineer IV serves as a principal technical leader for complex system and system-of-systems efforts in a NAVSEA Program Office Support role. This role drives end-to-end systems engineering activities across requirements, architecture, integration, verification, and sustainment planning, ensuring mission solutions are technically sound and executable. This position is contingent upon award. Award is expected in 3-6 months.

Requirements:

- Extensive experience leading large defense-system engineering efforts across multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated success in requirements decomposition, interface governance, and technical baseline management.
- Strong background in risk management, verification planning, and lifecycle decision support for senior stakeholders.

- Masterโ€™s degree in an Engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of professional systems engineering experience.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate software, hardware, and networked subsystems into mission-capable solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reviews and leadership briefings.
- Active DoD Secret clearance (or clearable to that level) required due to support for classified programs and facilities.
