Job description

Job Overview:
Primoris Services Corporation is a leading provider of critical infrastructure services to the utility, energy, and renewables markets throughout the United States and Canada.
Q3 Contracting (Q3C), a division of Primoris Services Corporation, is a publicly owned and operated construction contracting company that provides both specific and turnkey services for its customers in the gas, oil, electric and telecommunications industry. We are headquartered in Minnesota, with branch offices in Colorado, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
We are actively hiring an Operations Coordinator who will provide administrative duties to assist our operations team. This position requires high proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office. After training is complete, the work schedule for this position will be required to work at our Commerce City branch office 2 days per week, our Dove Valley office branch 1 day per week, and 2 days remote per week.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain customer relations continuously working to resolve their concerns or requests.
  • Timely delivery of schedules and other reporting to our customer
  • Interact with all customers and co-workers in a professional, helpful and friendly manner.
  • Utilize Smartsheet for data management and retention
  • Determine the sequence and way work will be carried out, consistent with established customer requirements and internal processes and procedures
  • Actively communicates with Foremen, Area Supervisor, and Management as required for job updates and statuses
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Perform additional administrative tasks when required

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in construction environment desired

Job Requirements:
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office. Certifications, examples, and/or references may be requested
  • Preferred experience with Smartsheet work management platform
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One-year customer service experience
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities to be effective and efficient
  • Must be comfortable and effective working in an environment with changing demands, delays and responding to unexpected situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; ability to maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with all customers and team members (internal/external)
