Hourly Wage: $20.72DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

Perform visual and physical inspections on finished goods to meet order specifications, production standards and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

•Perform visual and physical inspections on Lift Chairs, Scooters, and other Pride products by utilizing Fit, Form and Function

•Ensure conformance to order specifications and FDA regulations on final inspections

•Conduct screening and/or re-work on nonconforming product per work instructions

•Perform quality inspections on all incoming containers

•Perform order verification on customized orders

•Consolidate shipping of finished goods and accessories

•Verify dimensional specifications with use of common measuring devices

•Accurately document and communicate inspection results

•Use RF Scanner to accurately document product movement to ensure inventory accuracy

•Operate a powered-industrial forklift and/or a vertical lift to perform general warehouse duties such as loading and unloading finished goods to and from containers, trailers and racked locations

•Effectively communicate daily results, concerns/issues and challenges to management

•Provide solutions to challenges in order to maintain daily goals

•Ensure conformance to order specifications and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations on final inspections in a specified department, area or on a designated line

•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

•Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training

•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

•Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times

•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

REQUIRED SKILLS

•Must be a team player, friendly, detail-oriented, and honest

Must have the ability to:

•Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment

•Read and interpret work instructions, work orders, inspection criteria, tape measures, and company policies and procedures

•Identify and record facts

•Safely operate/drive powered-industrial forklifts

•Lift up to 50 lbs., Push/Pull up to 80 lbs.

Must have:

•Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement

•A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods

•Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel

•Good verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS

•Basic working knowledge of Oracle preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

•At least 6 months in a Quality Assurance role OR at least 2 years of experience in a hands-on assembly, manufacturing, or warehousing role with specific quality guidelines/standards

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

•At least 1 year of powered-industrial forklift operation experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred*

•Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

*Warehouse environment has moderate forklift traffic, and may be cool in the winter and hot in the summer

REQUIRED EDUCATION

•High School Diploma or GED

PREFERRED EDUCATION

•American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification preferred

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
