POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Pricing & Revenue Analyst will be a strategic, data-driven contributor responsible for developing pricing strategies, optimizing revenue performance, and providing executive-level insights that drive profit growth. This role combines advanced analytical capabilities, financial modeling, competitive intelligence, and cross-functional business partnership. The ideal candidate brings deep quantitative expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence senior leadership through clear, fact-based recommendations.
CORE FUNCTIONS
o Develop, implement, and refine pricing strategies that maximize margin, volume, and long-term revenue objectives.
o Conduct in depth price elasticity, margin sensitivity, and profitability analyses.
o Build dynamic pricing models using historical data, market conditions, and demand forecasting.
o Evaluate promotional pricing, discount structures, rebate programs, and customer level profitability.
o Conduct scenario modeling to forecast financial outcomes under different pricing strategies.
o Analyze and interpret large sets of pricing and market data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
o Create proofs of concept and test performance for permanent inclusion into our pricing and revenue management platform.
o Prepare executive ready presentations that articulate insights, assumptions, risks, and strategic recommendations.
o Identify opportunities to streamline pricing processes, improve data quality, and enhance overall pricing capabilities within the organization.
o Work closely with cross functional teams and provide analytical support for new product introductions, cost changes, commercial policies, and contract negotiations
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, statistics, or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
โ€ข 8+ years of experience in pricing required.
โ€ข Advanced Excel/Sheets modeling skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, scenario modeling).
โ€ข Experience leading a pricing function/department preferred.
โ€ข Experience with statistical/database coding language (e.g., R, Python) preferred.
Skills and Abilities
โ€ข Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and data analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau). Familiarity with a variety of ERPs.
โ€ข Ability to solve quantitative and qualitative problems surrounding price setting.
โ€ข Ability to interpret a variety of instructions. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports and various data sources.
โ€ข Ability to effectively present information to top management.
โ€ข Ability to interface with a variety of internal (e.g., sales, marketing, eCommerce, product management, IT, business analytics) and external (e.g., consultants) stakeholders.
โ€ข Knowledge of database software, price setting (B2C and B2B), and market analysis.

COMPETENCIES
โ€ข - Comprehensive understanding of the dynamics that drive purchase behavior for end consumers and intermediaries (e.g., WDs, OEMs, retailers). Familiarity with the analyses associated with setting a price, including elasticity analysis psychological pricing, assortment analysis, co-op justification, price thresholds, restocking fees, negotiated discounts, & value selling.
โ€ข - Deep familiarity with the quantitative analysis required to set a price (e.g., elasticity analysis, gross to net breakdown, and incentive analysis). Ability to work with unstructured data of varying quality.
โ€ข - Experience leading a team, setting the goals for a function, and delivering them above expectations. Ability to drive the development of employees with varying experience levels, skill sets, and career goals.
โ€ข - Ability to craft communication (verbal and visual) that convinces top leadership of your point of view. Understanding of interpersonal and cross-functional dynamics, modulating communication to fit audience and affect outcomes.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
โ€ข Lead: working team member who coordinates, supports, trains, and is a knowledge resource for other team members. No direct reports or supervisory responsibility.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
โ€ข This position is subject to light work; Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
