Structural Interventional Cardiologist
Carolina Cardiology Associates (CCA) | Rock Hill & Fort Mill, South Carolina
Position Overview
Carolina Cardiology Associates (CCA) is seeking 2 new full-time Interventional Cardiologists to join our growing physician-led cardiovascular practice serving Rock Hill, Fort Mill, and the greater Charlotte region. This role includes a balanced mix of interventional and general cardiology responsibilities across clinic, hospital, and ambulatory surgery center settings.
Key responsibilities/services include:

  • Structural procedures including TAVR and Mitral Clip 
  • Coronary interventional procedures
  • Peripheral vascular interventions (preferred based on training and experience)
  • Echocardiography (TTE/TEE)
  • Nuclear cardiology and stress testing
  • Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultations
  • Preventive cardiology and medication management


The incoming physician will play a key role in helping expand cardiovascular procedural volume within the groups new state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center opening in early 2027.
This opportunity offers collaboration with experienced cardiologists, APPs, medical assistants, and administrative staff across both clinic and hospital settings.
Shared call responsibilities provide balanced physician support and work-life integration.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified / Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology
  • Completion of accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology training programs
  • MD or DO
  • Eligible for South Carolina medical licensure
  • Structural heart training and interest required
  • Peripheral vascular experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and quality outcomes
